With new event restrictions due to COVID-19, the 5K & Fun Walk will go virtual! This means you can participate on April 25th at anytime virtually anywhere! Plan your 5K around your neighborhood, local trails, tracks or treadmills, with who ever you like (social distancing, of course) at anytime in the day. Simply document your run by tagging C.U.R.E. on social media (@curekidscancer_ on Instagram and Twitter) and use the hashtag: #CUREVirtual5K on your social media accounts. Remember to list WHO you run/walk for in your post. We encourage all families to create & wear their team t-shirts (what a fun activity to do together at home - create t-shirts!), colors or costumes as we will be missing the annual t-shirt parade this year. We also encourage families to "chalk your walk" with special messages dedicated to C.U.R.E., our kiddos or those you dedicate your walk for. Please post those to social media, too! We look forward to your participation with our more traditional 5K & Fun Walk in 2021.
Get involved, get active and out of the house on April 25th as we go "virtually" anywhere with our 5K & Fun Walk presented by Cornerstone Wealth Management! Just make sure you sign up, fundraising prizes are still available! Proceeds go to C.U.R.E. Childhood Cancer Association; helping local families who are coping with childhood cancer or chronic blood disorders.
