There are many ways that you can volunteer to help CURE. If you feel that you would like to donate your time to CURE - we value your time more than you know. Below are several ways for you to volunteer your services or time. If you would like to volunteer or if you have questions about volunteer opportunities please contact us, or complete the form below
Volunteer at a CURE event: Olivia, on the left, has a brother who had childhood cancer. She is pictured volunteering during CURE's National Cancer Survivors' Day. Volunteering at a CURE Family Event or a CURE Fundraising Event can be a lot of fun! Opportunities include the annual CURE Holiday Party, the CURE Golf Tournament and many others. It's a great way to have fun, meet new people, and help families.
Volunteer at the CURE Office: When Diane retired, she knew that she wanted to volunteer in some way that helped children. Little did she know that would mean working at a computer in an office! After asking around she heard about CURE and offered her skills. Inititlly she worked on CURE's mailings and currently comes in one or two times a week to work on thank-you letters and to help with other work around the office. The CURE Staff is small, and there is always work needed to be done in the office.
Family Services: CURE provides invaluable financial, emotional and educational services to families of children with cancer. Sometimes, it's the small things that can make a child smile or comfort a parent. CURE volunteers make quilts, blankets and pillows that are distributed in our comfort kits. Can you quilt or crochet? Your skills could help CURE support a family as they struggle with childhood cancer.
